ONTARIO COUNTY, N.Y. -- A man was arrested and charged after Sheriff's say he allegedly left his 9 month-old daughter in the car alone while he went shopping at Eastview Mall Friday afternoon.
The Ontario County Sheriff's office says Carlton Benner,26, of Rochester was charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
They say the child was left along for approximately 20 minutes around 12:30p.m.
Benner is scheduled to appear back in Victor Town Court at a later date.
