ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A Rochester girl continues to make a name for herself in the Ninja Warrior community.

Briar Hinds has been competing for over three-and-half years and has had a lot of success. Hinds is only 10 years old. Hinds has competed in qualifying events for the Mature Kids Division of the National Ninja League. In total, she has ten first-place finishes. She won first place Saturday at a local skills competition.

"Before I started doing ninja, I played soccer and that was all I did. And then, I realized I liked climbing and doing all that stuff and then, I realized then this gym opened. Then, it was just a place where I could do all that stuff and actually get something good out of it," said Hinds.

As Hinds continues to compete, she has her sights set on competing on the television show “America Ninja Warrior Junior.”
