A GoFundMe page has now been created for a family who was hit while on their horse-drawn buggy in Penn Yan earlier this month.
Thousands of dollars of the $25,000 goal have already been raised for the Sensenig family.
Matthew and Katrina Sensenig were on their way home with their five children when they were hit from behind by a vehicle.
Both parents and two of the children were flown to Strong Memorial Hospital.
The sheriff's office says the driver of the car was trying to pass the buggy and clipped it.
The driver was ticketed for following too closely, not wearing a seatbelt, and failure to avoid collision with a horse.
