Eastridge won the school's first boys basketball title since 1964, topping crosstown rival Irondequoit in the Class A final, 52-43.

Tony Arnold earned MVP honors but center Percy Robinson came up with 17 points and 10 rebounds to be the difference maker in the final. The Lancers face East in the Class A playdown Wednesday after the Eagles held off NE Douglass, 69-60 behind 33 points from Zechariah Harris-Scott.

In Class AA, UPrep held off a late McQuaid run to win the school's first Section 5 team title, 81-76. Melvin Council, Jr. scored 28 and Na'Zea Fowlkes added 26 for the Griffins.

At 9am, Geneva won the Class B1 title, besting Waterloo 60-55. The Panthers will face Avon in the playdown, the Braves beat Wayland-Cohocton for the Class B2 title, 63-46.

In Class D, Prattsburgh beat Elba 72-64 for the D2 title with Avoca winning D1, 80-58 over Genesee Valley.
