Mercy topped defending champion Pittsford Mendon 19-9 and Pittsford Sutherland used a walk-off home run to beat Batavia 7-6 in eigth innings in the Class A softball finals.
The Monarchs and Knights playoff for a spot in next week's regionals. Grace Fanset hit a home run in the bottom of the eighth for the Knights.
