Bill Gray's Regional Iceplex is usually known for hockey and ice skating, but it is also home to a disc golf course.

Golfers launched frisbees in the 24th Ice Bowl, raising money for Foodlink.

More than 70 disc golfers took part in singles play in six different divisions, all for a special trophy disc.

An organizer says while they don't use golf clubs, the game is still the same.

"We're throwing frisbees to do it, but trying to perfect it — get a birdie, get it in two, on a par four, get a three — it's still golf," said Michael Herzog of Livonia.

The Greater Rochester Disc Golf Club helped put on Sunday's tournament.
