There's a group of volunteers who collect, wrap and deliver birthday gifts to at-risk children in classrooms in the Rochester City School District.

It's called "Happy Birthday Cha Cha Cha." Carrie Green started the non-profit to help kids celebrate their birthdays at school with a couple of toys and a goodie bag full of sweet treats, books and socks.

The community donates all of the birthday presents and products. Volunteers help wrap them all and take them to kids in kindergarten through second grade at five Rochester schools.

"We are 100 percent donation and volunteer-based so we could not do it without everybody’s support. My running group, my gym they have all donated. I have had Girl Scouts troops come in and sports teams come in and wrap. I have found Oreos in my mailbox," Green said.

Happy Birthday Cha Cha Cha provided birthday gifts to 730 kids this school year.

Donation information is available on their website and and the their Facebook page.
