I found a hidden gem in the Adirondacks! Just off of Route 28, east of Inlet, you'll find the quiet and peaceful hamlet of Raquette Lake. Now that the summer season is over, this rustic find is back to its tranquil self.  You might hear an occasional motor boat on the lake or the slam of the Tap Room screen door. But that's it!

If the WW Durant is docked and ready for a cruise.... take it! The season of touring the lake ends mid-October but making plans for next year is a very good idea. Dinner cruises are best with excellent food! Captain Dean built the ship and knows Raquette Lake's history. There's no better way to take in Adirondack goodness!
