GREECE, N.Y. -- Two people were found shot to death inside a Greece residence on Mount Read Boulevard near Stone Road Wednesday morning in what police say appears to be a murder-suicide.
Greece police say the victims are a couple in their 70s.
They say the two were found with gunshot wounds inside their home.
We're in the process of a full investigation," said Patrick Phelan, Greece police chief. "This is only about an hour old so a full neighborhood canvas, interview of neighbors, family members, any and all witnesses and persons with information, but as you know these things take time."
Officials say the two were discovered after the woman didn't show up to work Wednesday morning.
"They were everyday neighbors, you know? Every day we had contact with them if we were outside," neighbor Jim Caluneo said. "They were always there."
