The University of Rochester men's soccer team upset Messiah 2-1 to advance to the Division III Final Four.

The Yellowjackets took a 1-0 lead in the first half on a goal by Ulrick Koren. The Falcons tied the game as Nick West scored his Nation-leading 30th goal of the season early in the second half.

Rochester then took the lead as a Falcons clearing attempt went the wrong way. Messiah's keeper Connor Bell and Aidan Miller both went for the ball. Bell went to punch the ball but over jumped it, the ball rolled off the back of his hands and in for a Team Goal and a 2-1 win for the Yellowjackets.

The U of R has never been to the Final Four, which is being held in Charlotte, NC. The Jackets face Tufts University November 30th at 1:45 for a spot in the National Championship game.

The game was held at Fauver Stadium after a snow storm forced the NCAA to switch the game from Messiah. The Falcons came into the game undefeated, coming off their 11th National Title last season, which included an Elite 8 Round victory over these same Yellowjackets.
