The Second Circuit Court of Appeals has thrown out the corruption conviction of former state Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos just months after overturning the conviction of former Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver. The Second Circuit cited the U.S. Supreme Court in the McDonnell case.
