A few snow showers will continue this evening with a coating to an inch or two of accumulation. Some freezing drizzle is also possible especially south of the Thruway. Use caution driving this evening.

A few scattered lake effect flurries will persist on and off overnight through Wednesday. Otherwise, look for mostly cloudy skies through this period. Lows tonight will be in the 20s to around 30 followed by highs Weds in the low to mid 30s.

A warm front will cross the region Thursday morning with a few snow showers. Behind this front, some sun develops during the afternoon and temps climb close to 40. 

Highs well into the 40s looks likely for Friday and Saturday. A few scattered mostly rain showers are also expected on and off Friday night and Saturday. 

A few scattered showers also look likely heading into Sunday morning. Temps will also cool a little for the second half of the weekend.

The next arctic cold front then looks to arrive Monday with scattered rain and snow showers followed by lake snow, gusty breezes and cold air for Tuesday.
