JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — The holiday season is officially here, and the city of Jamestown rang it in Saturday night with its annual Christmas parade.

The theme of this year's parade was "Jamestown, a Diverse Comunity, Celebrating Holiday Traditions from Around the World."

Hundreds of people lined the streets to take in the sights of this year's festivities, which included the Christmas tree lighting, an appearance from Santa Claus and even some fireworks.

People also had the chance to shop downtown before the parade and enjoy some food.

There was even a hockey tournament and Mistletoe fun run for both kids and adults in the afternoon.
