The Capital Region has been awarded $67 million, and the Mid-Hudson region has won $87.3 million, in the latest round of Regional Economic Development Awards from New York State.

Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul made the announcement Tuesday morning at the Albany Capital Center.

The Capital Region awards will support 95 projects, according to the state economic development agency. Mid-Hudson's award, the second-largest given out Tuesday, will support 122 projects.

Central New York earned the highest award, $88.2 million.
