Emily Wootton, 20, of Vermont was killed in a crash in Rhinebeck this weekend.

Police say their investigation shows 35-year-old Robert Dancy veered over the center line on State Route 9-G, near Vlei Road. They say his vehicle struck Wootton's and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Dancy was rushed to Westchester Medical Center with serious injuries.

The stretch of road was closed down for some time while investigators worked. There is no word on any charges in the crash at this time.
