RHINEBECK, N.Y. -- Chancellor Livingston Elementary School kids are hoping to have a new place to work out at school. And they may get their wish if they win a national competition.

CLS is one of the schools in the running for the “Dannon Danimals and Project Fit America Back to School Grant Contest.” Four schools around the country will be chosen to receive $32,000 to help build and install a fitness playground.

School representatives said people who live in Rhinebeck can use the playground even if they are not students or faculty members at the school. They said they want to win because the playground will not only be a great way for the kids to stay fit, but it will also be a unique opportunity to bring the community together.
