The newly-passed Farm Bill is getting the thumbs up from the New York Farm Bureau.

The group says this bill creates a stronger safety net for dairy farms who have struggled with uncertain prices and decreased milk consumption. And there is more support for research programs, which you may not always think of when it comes to one of the world's oldest industries.

But New York farmers are making changes to both their produce and their process.
