A commission intended to oversee prosecutors and ferret out misconduct is on hold before it even got started.

The District Attorneys Association of New York filed a legal challenge to the new law after Governor Cuomo signed it. And now a judge is giving state lawmakers a chance to make changes to the law instead of fighting it out in court.
