After having poor air quality for the past few days because of wildfire smoke, it looks like this weekend will be devoid of wildfire smoke most of the time.

What You Need To Know

  • Smoke from Canadian wildfires caused dangerous air quality this week

  • Outdoor events and flights were also affected by the smoke

  • Air quality will be much better this weekend

  • We likely haven't seen the last of wildfire smoke

We've seen dramatic skies like the photo below for the past few days, but air quality will improve heading into the upcoming weekend.

While there may be some smoke traveling through for a time on Saturday, it doesn't look to have a big impact on our air quality.

Spending time outdoors will be much safer this weekend.

With hundreds of wildfires continuing up to our north in Canada, it's likely that smoke will have an effect going into the summer months.
