Tonight will be variably cloudy, warm and muggy with a few spotty showers and thunderstorms possible. It will be quite warm and muggy; certainly a night you will want the fans and air conditioners running.

Lows Tonight:

  • Central New York: 67 - 73
  • Northern New York: 60s/70
  • Southern Tier: 60s/70

Another warm and humid day is in store on Monday with a few more scattered showers and thunderstorms possible. Temperatures will once again top out in the 80s.

On Tuesday, many places across Central New York and the North Country will see plenty of dry weather in the mix. However, from about Syracuse southward, there is the risk again for a few showers and thunderstorms. Highs will once again be in the 80s.

Area-wide chances for showers and storms return on Wednesday as a cold front passes through the region. Highs will remain unseasonably warm in the 80s.

In the wake of the aforementioned cold front, temperatures will drop significantly, as will humidity levels. Highs by Thursday will return to the 70s, and drier weather is expected.

Mostly sunny skies are on tap for Friday and Saturday, as temperatures remain pleasantly warm in the 70s.
