A relatively weak disturbance will work in tonight with a few scattered snow showers with only minor accumulations possible. Scattered snow showers are expected to taper Monday morning. Lows will be in the 0s, 10s and 20s.
We are on track for a quiet start to the new week and this will be the calm before the storm. Our next big system will arrive Tuesday with a widespread snow developing. Snow could then start to transition to more a wintry mix later Tuesday/Tuesday night. For areas that see more mixing with sleet, freezing rain or rain, this will cut back on snow totals but still make for messy conditions. More details on snowfall amounts will be available over the next day or so.
Beyond this storm, the forecast calls for a push of milder air late in the week. Stay tuned for updates!
