Some Amtrak customers have experienced major delays between Sunday and Monday due to strong winds and storms.
The company says the weather brought down debris and caused power outages along the tracks between Niagara Falls and Syracuse. That caused an extended delay of the train service.
Amtrak says crews have been working on fixing the issue.
The high winds and rain also caused thousands of power outages across parts of New York state.
According to Rochester Gas & Electric, National Grid and New York State Electric & Gas, more than 75,000 customers lost power as of 6:55 p.m. More than 20,000 customers were still without power early Monday morning.
