Many remember last year's Camping World-Gander RV Show was canceled due to the pandemic. That's why organizers said quite a few people have been eager to have the show return.
"We've had people asking for months if we planned on having it and up until recently, we've monitored the situation to see and when we found out we were going to be able to handle having the show, meeting all the New York State guidelines as well as the CDC guidelines, and keep everybody safe, we were very excited," said Camping World Syracuse General Manager Kurt Schroeder.
Schroeder said the pandemic has also led more people to the RV market like never before. Many people have realized they can work from home and still be able to travel across the country.
The typical cost for an RV ranges anywhere from $10,000 to $300,000. However, at the show, many of the prices have been reduced for the weekend. You can find both new and pre-owned units in the Expo Center this weekend.
