CBA Syracuse defended its state high school football title against CBA Albany on Saturday.
The JMA Wireless Dome hosted the Class AA football state championship this weekend.
CBA Syracuse trailed by 12 points with seven minutes to play, but two late scores, the last being a Hail Mary reception by Darien Williams with no time remaining, gave CBA Syracuse a memorable 41-40 win over CBA Albany.
"[These are] two great schools, two great teams, two great administrations and staff and kids and families," CBA Syracuse head coach Casey Brown said. "And it's nice to be able to come out here and battle. They're unbelievably great guys and I'm so proud to be a part of this."
