About 35,000 racing fans are expected to visit Oswego Speedway for Super Dirt Week through Sunday.
Events have been going on all week, but the big races are set to begin in the coming days.
Super Dirt Week attracts people from across the northeast and even Canada, and there is quite a bit to like if you like dirt car racing. This event is now its 51st year and is known as "Racing's Biggest Party."
Close to 1,000 campers are parked outside the track in numerous spots for the week. Many people have been enjoying the qualifying races and time trials, which began Wednesday.
Some just enjoy coming with friends, camping out for a few days, and checking out the action every day.
"We have qualifying races for the Pro Stocks and the 358s. Friday night, we've got the Sportsman and the Big Block Modifieds and Friday Night Lights. And then all the big races start Saturday and Sunday," said Super Dirt Week Executive Director Jeff Hachmann.
If you're considering making the drive to Oswego this weekend, two big races will take place on Saturday. Sunday will be the biggest day of the week, as fans will get a chance to meet the Top 30 drivers in the Billy Whittaker 200 at noon. The race will take place at 5 p.m. Sunday.
