Over at the Warrior Factory in Camillus, kids ranging from ages 6 to 17 are getting ready for the National Ninja League regionals.

The Ninja League has been around for six years, and yes, "ninja" is a sport.

The Warrior Factory has 21 athletes are will be representing Central New York in the New England Regionals and fighting for spots in the World Finals.

The ninjas can attest, it takes a lot to prepare for these competitions.

"We practice a lot. We practice hard obstacles, we practice easy ones in case that obstacles is in the course we can know what to do on it," said Alex Vergamini, a 2nd grader at East Hill Elementary School.

The New England Regionals will run over the next two weekends. Worlds will be held the last week of June.
