Brianne Jenner has accomplished quite a bit as an athlete. A graduate of Cornell, Jenner is a two-time Olympian, competing for Team Canada's women's ice hockey team.

Despite, winning gold in 2014, Jenner's biggest accomplishment is coming out as a gay woman to her family.

As a teenager, Jenner found herself attracted to the same sex as her. But, the fear of coming out as a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community to her family was short-lived, as they embraced her from the beginning.

The embrace has moved Jenner to speak to others about the relief it is about being open about yourself. She also advocates for continued progress of acceptance, knowing that they are many more men and women just like her who struggled with their identity at first.
