HAMILTON, N.Y. -- First it was Jordan Burns who decided it was time for him to test the NBA draft waters, and now Rapolas Ivanauskas is leaving Hamilton, but not for the pros.

Spectrum News confirms Jeff Goodman’s report that the 5th year senior is entering the transfer portal.

This comes after two seasons with the Colgate Raiders which earned the program back-to-back Patriot League regular season titles, and an NCAA Tournament berth in 2019.

Colgate, who had a chance to punch a tourney ticket last month, fell 64-61 in the Patriot League title game against Boston University March 11th.

Ivanauskas saw a bit of a dip in production from his junior to senior season, scoring just 13.1 PPG last year after tallying 15.9 PPG a year ago. A season in which the former Northwestern transfer won the Patriot League Player of the Year award.

Last month, Rapolaus told Spectrum News that he was considering turning pro, but that was depending on if he could workout in front of NBA brass at the draft combine in Chicago. With the COVID-19 outbreak, Ivanauskas has now turned his sights towards the portal, and possibly finishing his career at a power five conference.
