The top-secret mission is for the National Reconnaissance Office.

They launched the mission from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, courtesy of SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket, stated the company.

The liftoff occurred at 1:48 p.m. ET.

GOING UP

The first-stage booster, B1092, has only sent up one mission — Starlink 12-13 — last month.

After the stage separation, the Falcon 9 booster landed on Landing Zone 1 at Cape Canaveral Space Fore Station, causing a sonic boom. Which many people in the surrounding areas can hear.
