A body was discovered in a burning car on Syracuse's north side Tuesday morning.
According to Syracuse Police, officers responded to the backyard of a residence in the 100 block of Herbert Street around 1:50 a.m. Tuesday for a vehicle fire.
When officers arrived, the fire was extinguished.
Upon further investifation, they found a dead person inside.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
