With less than two weeks before Democrats kick off their convention in Chicago, Vice President Kamala Harris has named Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate.

The National Guard veteran turned congressman is in his second term as governor of Minnesota, a key piece of the “Blue Wall” which the newly minted Harris-Walz team will need to keep blue if they want to win the White House this November.
