Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the average cost of diapers has skyrocketed like most products and services.

According to the National Diaper Bank Network, one in two families are dealing with diaper need.

Here in New York, lawmakers are calling for funding in the state budget to help diaper banks in the Empire State. Assemblymember Michaelle Solages joined Capital Tonight to discuss the funding request and the impact it can have on New Yorkers.
