Thursday marks the end of some of the last tenant protections from the COVID-19 pandemic which included protections for tenants who couldn’t pay rent during the course of the pandemic.

Capital Tonight spoke with Judith Goldiner, attorney in charge of the civil law reform unit at the Legal Aid Society, and Harriet Baldwin, a property owner and manager from the Southern Tier, on the expiration and legislative priorities for next session.
