A recent Siena College poll, which asked voters about the race for the state’s comptroller office, found more than half of respondents did not have a view on incumbent Tom DiNapoli.
DiNapoli, who has held the office since 2007, joined Pat Kiernan on “Mornings On 1” Thursday to discuss the poll findings, saying that when it comes down to Election Day “people tend to pay attention and then we end up doing very well.”
The two also touched on DiNapoli’s previous work as state comptroller, his relationship with Gov. Kathy Hochul and the financial challenges New York is still facing.
His opponent, Republican Paul Rodriguez, will join “Mornings On 1” on Oct. 25.
