As we look ahead to the Republican National Convention, a North Country congresswoman will play a starring role next week.

The New York Post reported that Elise Stefanik will give a primetime address.

The exact time and date has not been figured out yet according to the article.

Stefanik in a statement said she is honored to speak in support of President Donald Trump.

“I’m honored to announce that President Trump invited me to speak at the 2020 Republican National Convention during primetime on behalf of New York’s 21st Congressional District,” she said in part. "As New York Co-Chair of the Trump campaign, I am proud to be supporting President Trump and Vice President Pence this year."
