The New York State Republican Committee in an email sent Wednesday to supporters sought to raise money off the push by Democrats in the House of Representatives to impeach President Donald Trump.
“This is an OUTRAGE. Nancy Pelosi and the House Democrats are launching a wholly-political impeachment inquiry against President Trump based on a phony scandal and ZERO FACTS,” the email stated.
New York Republicans blasted the Democrats in the state House delegation for supporting impeachment, including Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Jerry Nadler, Sean Patrick Maloney and Antonio Delgado.

But the fundraising request also knocked Democrats who are yet to support the impeachment inquiry — Reps. Anthony Brindisi and Max Rose — who flipped Republican districts that Trump carried in 2016.
“This is why we must flip the House RED!!” the email stated. “New York is President Trump’s home state and we need to show him we have his back. Every dollar you donate will go directly toward winning a Republican majority and taking out these traitors who are obsessed with this endless witch hunt instead of working for YOU.”
