Three candidates for the State Supreme Court in the Sixth District are running more than their campaign together.

Christopher Baker, Oliver Blaise, and Mark Masler are running together for the three open seats in the district, but Sunday, they also ran a triathlon together.

Running as a relay, Masler swam, Blaise cycled, and Baker ran. Baker says the triathlon was the perfect event for them to compete in because they specialize in the different legs.  

"This is actually a great natural process for us because I am, by trade, a runner. Oliver Blaise, who's the other candidate from Broome County, is a cyclist, and Mark Masler from Cortland County is a swimmer," Baker said.

They participated in the triathlon in an effort to raise awareness for their campaign. The Sixth Judicial District covers Broome, Chemung, Cortland, Delaware, Madison, Otsego, Schuyler, Tioga, and Tompkins counties.
