National Grid is preparing for more snowy, windy weather in parts of Western, Northern and Central New York.
The utility company says it has activated its emergency response plan.
This includes increased staffing, extending evening and overnight shifts and pre-staging crews and materials in areas expected to be impacted the most.
The company is also reaching out to emergency management officials and other local leaders.
National Grid says customers who lose power can go online to expedite the restoration process. To report an outage, customers can text ‘OUT’ to 64743.
Customers can also text ‘REG’ to 64743 to sign up for alerts when an outage is detected on their property.
