An unidentified fraternity at Cornell University has been suspended while authorities investigate a report of a sexual assault alleged to have occurred on Edgemoor Lane in Ithaca, according to university police. 

A person reported to the Cornell University Police Department on Nov. 8 that they were sexually assaulted by several males and coerced into consuming ketamine and other drugs on the 100 block of Edgemoor Lane on Oct. 25, 2024, or during the early morning hours on Oct. 26, 2024, Cornell police said on its website.

The fraternity was immediately suspended, and an investigation is underway, according to university police.

Last month, Syracuse University suspended activities at two fraternities while it investigates hazing allegations made against them, according to the university.
