Health officials in Chenango County are monitoring a reported increase in COVID-19 levels in the county's wastewater.

The latest Chenango County Weekly Wastewater Surveillance Data Report reveals an increase in COVID-19 levels over the past three weeks. Officials say the COVID levels found are elevated and higher than the New York state average.

Health officials are asking to public to stay home if they are sick, take caution with people who have underlying health conditions, get vaccinated against COVID-19 and practice good hand hygiene.
