We are talking about traffic safety this weekend on In Focus. JoDee Kenney spoke with Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon about the opportunity to build traffic safety into road and highway projects underway to support the development of the multibillion-dollar Micron chip manufacturing facility. McMahon also spoke about the need to build more housing, and the county’s investment in new water and wastewater infrastructure. In addition to the I-81 project making headway in the city of Syracuse, McMahon said improvements along Route 31 in Clay are adding sidewalks to that suburban community.
