This weekend on In Focus, we’re discussing the impact of Downtown Revitalization Initiative funding across upstate New York cities. Oswego Mayor-elect Rob Corradino sat down with JoDee Kenney to talk about the various projects moving forward, thanks to $10 million awarded by New York state.

Corradino said the city will continue efforts to reimagine its downtown, begun under outgoing Mayor Billy Barlow. That includes streetscape and infrastructure improvements along the main corridor, promoting the development of new housing options, and transforming vacant and aging buildings into commercial space. Corradino also highlighted the newly opened Splash Indoor Water Park, a DRI project he said will further boost tourism and the local economy.
