This weekend on In Focus, the conversation is all about supporting vibrant downtowns in communities across upstate New York. Spectrum News 1 reporter Vince Briga shared with JoDee Kenney the successes being seen in the village of Owego. The Tioga County spot along the Susquehanna River was a previous recipient of Downtown Revitalization Initiative funding, for projects aimed at bringing a more walkable and water-accessible experience to visitors. Vince and JoDee also discussed the impact of some sizable employers, like Lockheed Martin, in Owego, as a downtown economic driver.
