Racing is coming to the Glen this weekend. Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen is taking over Watkins Glen International.
There will be cars circling the track all weekend long, plus events for fans. Friday will bring races for Mazda MX-5, Porsche and Lamborghini.

“There’s so much going on. There’s something on track just about every minute of every day, so it’s a lot to see and do,” said Clay Campbell, acting track president of Watkins Glen International.
Ending the day on Thursday, Friday and Saturday are concerts on the Jack Daniels concert stage. Acts include Chasing Neon, OMG The Sweats and Monica Hall Band.
Saturday night ends with fireworks after another busy day of racing.
The main event, Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen, starts at 10:40 a.m. and true to the name, will last six hours. This Sunday’s race is the third leg of the Michelin Endurance Challenge.
Fans will be camping out all weekend long on the WGI grounds.
“There’s a lot to see and do. Our midway is off the charts. If you’re a car enthusiast, that’s where you need to be. It is amazing to see all the cars and displays, so great weekend here at the Glen,” said Campbell.
Another fun thing for the fans: On Saturday, all the drivers will be doing autographs.
