The New York Thruway Authority is proposing two toll hikes – next year, followed by another one in 2027.

The plan has generated criticism from the public and state Comptroller Tom DiNapoli.

Spectrum News 1's Robert Guaderrama spoke to the Thruway Authority about the toll increases and DiNapoli's take on them. The comptroller didn't appear satisfied with the authority's response.
