Heavy storms made their way across the state Tuesday, and now we're getting a look at some of the flooding that happened across the region.

Starting in LaFayette, many of the roads were flooded out with officials warning drivers to use caution and drive slow.

For all of those drivers in the town of Lafayette, there will be a shut down between Palmer Road and Apulia Road and another between Case Hill Road and Tully Farms Road.

In Onondaga County, two sections of Route 20 are closed. Over in DeWitt, all lanes are closed on NY-290 Eastbound and Westbound between Butternut Drive and Drott Drive this morning.

Additionally, flooding on NY-290 between NY-257; North Manlius Street (Manlius) and Clemons Road (Manlius), has resulted in lane closures. This includes an area of NY-290 near Green Lakes State Park, where low street levels led to overflow.

A travel advisory was been issued for Cayuga County Tuesday night and is still in effect. The town of Owego has closed Hickories Park due to flooding on the North side.

Near Moravia, flooding on NY-38 northbound between Gruthers Road and NY-90 (Locke) has closed all lanes.

In the Utica area, flooding on River Street in both directions between NY-69 (Oriskany) and NY-49 has also resulted in all lanes being blocked.

Officials urge residents to stay safe and find alternative routes when coming across flooded roadways.
