LEWISTON, N.Y. — It is not everyday you get the chance to run class five rapids, but an adventure tour company in Western New York is making that possible.

The Whirlpool Jetboat Tours is taking adventure-seeking through rapids on the Niagara River. The experience is part tour/part thrill.

A tour guide explains the history of the Niagara River and the uniqueness of the rapids it offers. Following the tour, the Jetboat will make multiple runs of the rapids, leaving riders completely soaked.

The adventure leaves from 115 S. Water Street in Lewiston. Tickets cost $63.95 for adults and $39.95 for kids. The tour runs approximately 45 minutes.
