The Westcott Community Center has been a valuable resource to Central New Yorkers suffering from food insecurity during the pandemic.
And Spectrum is supporting their mission by donating $2,500 to the center's Basic Needs Pantry.
The money will allow they pantry to expand its offerings to include refrigerated and frozen products.
The donation to the Community Center comes at a critical time for families who are struggling during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Partnering with the Food Bank of Central New York, the Westcott Community Center was able to expand their pantry and work with Spectrum with the money they were able to donate its really a lovely grand pantry that they have available to the people who live in this neighborhood," said New York state Assemblywoman Pamela Hunter.
To use the pantry, you must live within the 13210 or 13214 zip codes, or be previously enrolled in community center programming.
