It was an active night for Syracuse Police officers who responded to several shots fired calls Sunday night into Monday morning with a total of five individuals sustaining gunshot wounds. One man is currently in critical condition.
Police say they first responded to Upstate University hospital just after 11:30 p.m. Sunday night for a shots fired investigation. A 28-year-old woman who was shot in the arm was transported to the hospital in a private vehicle and is expected to be OK.
Around 1:14 a.m., police responded to the 300 block of Craddock Street for another shooting with injuries call. A 20-year-old male was found shot in the head, and a 17-year-old male and 15-year-old male were both found with gunshot wounds to the back.
The two teens are expected to survive, but the 20-year-old is listed in critical condition.
Finally, just before 2:30 a.m. Monday, police responded to Upstate for another shooting with injuries call. A 56-year-old male sustained a graze-like gunshot wound to the arm and is expected to survive. Police say the location of the incident is still under investigation.
