Senator Chuck Schumer is pushing to bring more flight options to Syracuse Hancock International Airport.
He's calling on Southwest to launch services at the airport. It's the only major Upstate airport without it.

A Southwest Airline representative tells Spectrum News 1 that they are honored by the request, but do not have any announcement regarding new service at this time.
